Muir District Camporee was held at Sugarloaf Recreation Area in Walnut Creek on April 18 - 20, 2008.
Wek-Wek Apanuc hosted the Atlatl event.
The Atlatl was an ancient hunting weapon devised by the ancient Aztec Indians. It is a difficult weapon to master, but even some of the Webelos were able to hit the target. Some of our Arrowmen were downright good with it. And everyone who tried it had fun, and wanted more of it.
